New upcoming project

So i read an article that says, that in order to grow as a designer, one needs to design at least one piece of work a day... so I am going to dedicate at least a couple minutes each day to make something. I actually began last week, and made some designs for some quotes.... but kinda stopped. So, I am going to attempt to try this project one more time, and actually stick to it.

Arizona Work

So these past couple days people have been talking a lot about the new law that just got passed in Arizona, but prior to that people were trying to get the word out, they even made a website altoarizona.com which informed people of the bill before it became a law and also was taking poster submissions by artist, so that people can be informed about it, and also help spread the word about what is going on.

I believed very strongly that the bill was wrong in so many ways, and I decided to make a poster, that caught peoples attention, and sent some type of message as well:



to my surprise, it was embraced by many, and it was even used for other blogs, such as:
RaceWire
Aware-LA
as well as the
Alto Arizona page

After this... the e-magazine I'm working with published a list of new State Slogans that would fit with Arizona.

and here's a picture of my new dog. Well I've had him for about 2 months, he's 3 months old, and he's a labrador retriever mixed (we were guessing maybe rottweiler and pitbull?) anyone

Bumpits For Men

A while back, I had this Idea about this damn bumpits product, but changing the target market a bit.
I figured there are a couple guys that have these pretty wild pompadours, and I thought, why not make it easy for them to style their head-ramps and make this product accessible to them as well. So I present to you: bumpits (For men)

Charlie Chaplin piece: HOLD/SOLD

So, I made this piece about/for Charlie Chaplin, and displayed it at the Verdugo bar. If you look closely, it is made by using original scanned script pages from "City Lights". It became one of my favorite pieces, and it's been put on hold for a buyer. Also, the Wolfmation was sold, that night. =]

well, here's it is:

Helping Haiti....

Because we're not the only one's out there, and people need help. So here's a flyer i made for a open mic event, that will/might become a silkscreened poster, which will be sold with other posters, by other artist, and some of the money will be donated to a charity. I will update more about this, as i figure things out.
But here's the flyer:


If you're able to attend the event and donate anything that you can, that would work as well. I know its tough times right now, but anything is better than nothing.
